FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The important questions,
before you start.

Answers about selection, investment, rights and project submissions. Partnership terms arise only from a specific agreement.

About submitting and working together.

Does it cost to submit my project?

We do not charge for project submissions. Contributions and financial terms for any potential partnership are agreed in writing before work begins.

Does every project receive investment?

No. Potential investment depends on selection, the agreed plan and available resources. Submitting music does not guarantee funding.

What happens to my rights?

Submitting music for evaluation does not transfer ownership or authorize commercial use. Any future license, administration arrangement or participation requires a specific agreement.

What happens after submission?

If we identify a potential fit and have the capacity to proceed, we will contact you to learn more. We do not guarantee an individual response or an evaluation report for every submission.

Do I need released music or a large following?

Not necessarily. You may share private demos with listening access. We assess artistic direction, readiness and commitment alongside available audience signals.

Is Songtraction a marketing agency?

Our main model is artist development through selective partnerships. Marketing may be one tool within a plan, but promotion packages are not presented as an admission route.

Do I have to contribute money?

You do not need to pay to submit. Contributions to a potential partnership are discussed individually. We do not assume that the artist must pay or that Songtraction will fund every expense.

What percentage does Songtraction take?

There is no single advertised percentage. Participation depends on scope, contributions, included rights, term, and cost recovery and revenue-sharing terms. Everything must be agreed before work begins.

Can I have agreements with other companies?

You may submit, but you must disclose relevant commitments and be authorized to share the material. Before a partnership, potential conflicts will be reviewed; we do not promise to resolve them.

Do you work only with Latin artists?

We do not impose a language or nationality exclusion here. We consider project fit, goals, markets and our actual ability to develop it.

Can I submit someone else’s project?

Only if you are at least 18 and authorized to represent the project and share its materials. Projects involving minors must be submitted by an authorized adult representative.

Do I have to continue on WhatsApp?

No. Your submission is stored before the receipt is displayed. WhatsApp is optional and opening it neither replaces nor determines the form’s registration.

Do you guarantee streams, playlists or profitability?

No. We do not use bots or artificial streams, and we do not guarantee acceptance, funding, playlists, virality, deals or profitability.
